Common Errors




ERROR 1: INVALID PUBLIC KEY


SYMPTOM: Upon verification of Username and PIN, printer reports: "NOT ABLE TO CONNECT AN INVALID 

PUBLIC KEY VALUE WAS SUPPLIED THE SUPPLIED PUBLIC KEY MUST BE A NON-EMPTY STRING."

FIX: Run an over the air update to your printer for the newest firmware. If you're in 

Europe, you will need to install the firmware manually.








ERROR 2: "NOT ABLE TO CONNECT" 



SYMPTOM: Upon verification of Username and PIN, printer reports: "NOT ABLE TO CONNECT"

 

 

FIX: The printer may be connected to the local intranet, but cannot talk to the Amazon Servers 

required to make the Polar Cloud work. Work with your network admin staff using this article

to be sure the printer's MAC address is whitelisted and it can communicate via the ports in the article.








ERROR 3: NO "CLOUDS" BUTTON IN SETTINGS



SYMPTOM: After clicking "SETTINGS", there are only 5 buttons, omitting the 6th and final button, Clouds.
