If you do not already have a second buildplate you will benefit greatly from having one.
As I finish a print I simply switch my buildplate for one that has been sprayed with hairspray and is cured and ready to go. I have saved a ton of time in prep time and saved a ton of wasted filament due to poor adhesion.
Just got new build plates in - Will be testing as soon as my replacement power supply is delivered (the first one lasted just 6 days...)
Great news! - I didn't see that they were just $10 in the store. I've nearly dropped mine a dozen times in the first week of having it!
Due to manufacturing issues, I know some build plates were slightly different thicknesses. There was enough variation to cause calibration concerns. That was supposed to be addressed in the past few weeks. Is this still a concern? Can build plates be swapped simply now?
